Visit to the river Jadro spring, town of Solin

The river Jadro springs at the foot of the mountain Mosor, at the 35 metres elevation and it infuses into the sea after 4,5 km long flow. It is supposed that it is the underground flow of the river Cetina, which has broken through the lime stones and built the small river. The river Jadro means a lot for this dry and harsh dalmatian land, because it provides the water and the cultivation of the agricultural lands. In the river lives the endemic kind of the soft mouth trout and numerous kinds of the flora. To protect the unique kinds of the flora and fauna, in the year 1984. the spring and the upper flow, have proclamated as the natural park.

Near the river Jadro spring, exists the beautiful nature, and therefore many excursionists,guests and the inhabitants from the town of Solin come and visit this beauty. In its vicinity, there are few sports playgrounds and the places for the spit and grid irons, so many visitors can enjoy the untamed nature.
