International gastronomic festival, town Supetar

Within the preparation for the tourist season in the year 2010. in the hotel Supetrus, the town of Supetar, the fifth international festival «The Sea Pearl 2010», has taken place. It was conceived as the program of the competition,presentation and tasting the top dishes and specialties from the different countries, the cooks have come from.16 cook teams from : Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia,Bosnia and Hercegovina were competing for the best dish and specialty. International festival was lasting for 4 days with 1000 guests and visitors. At the same time, under the Cratian trade chamber, round table has taken place, where many lecturers from University of town Split and Vern,Ministry of the tourism, have participated about the gastronomic cooking and healthy food. The most interesting was the competition of the high cook schools from the 5 countries in the making the modern dishes and desserts of the cheese. The guests could go round the taverns and restaurants of the town Supetar and taste the domestic dishes of the island Brac. At the final day, the «Grand prix-sea pearl 2010» has been awarded to the winners.

The guests,visitors and tourists were delighted about this manifestation,specialties and wine from the island of Brac, and hospitality of the hosts from the town of Supetar. Organizers promised for this festival to be taken place next year.
