International festival of wine and gastronomy, town of Zagreb

In the hotel Regent Explanada, the town of Zagreb, in the November the year 2010. many domestic and foreign producers of the: Wine, cheese, smoked hams, kulen sausages, Truffles and the olive oils, have gathered, so the fifth international festival of the gastronomy and wine, could take place. It was the largest gathering of the wine producers,restaurant owners,hotel managers,numerous guests and visitors from the Republics of: Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, France, Hungary, BiH, Macedonia and remote Chile, who love good wine and food. Through the suppliers, many wines even from the Australia, South Africa,USA and New Zeland were present. This festival has taken place in all the hotel halls and the large tents on the terrace Oleander. About 200 expositors from the Republic of Croatia and abroad, have offered the top products and wines.

This presentation was conceived as the impuls to the development of the national economy and tourism. The hosts have presented the menu through the workshops, so the guests could see the Wines selection which agrees with some dishes. This testing of the Wines and the dishes has excited all the visitors. The income of this manifestation was donated for the supply of the medical equipment and furniture for the oncology of the clinic for the children's diseases in town of Zagreb. The patrons for this international festival were: Ministries of the agriculture and tourism, Craatian chamber of commerce,town of Zagreb and many others. This was the place, where many croatian products and wines, have been advertised. The festival will take place next year.
