Classic oldtimers rally Croatia, towns of Split and Dubrovnik

Every year in September, unique oldtimers rally is taking place.Under its official name of «Classic rally Croatia» round 50 oldtimers - the pearls of old cars brands: Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Porche, Bentley, Jagurar and Aston-Martin in 3 days race, are competing for the title of winner, on the route from the town od Split, island of Brac, coast, Peninsula Peljesac to the town od Dubrovnik Headed by security vehicle, whose driver is famous Niko Pulic, multiple winner in the mountain's rally. The first competitive day, all cars are embarking into the cars ferry to the island Brač, after that on the road from the town od Supetar to the town of Sumartin, again by the cars ferry to the coast. The second day, the race is going on, from the town of Brela to the towns of Makarska and Ploce, after that, by the cars ferry to the town of Trpanj and to the hill of Saint Juraj, near the town of Orebic on the peninsula Peljesac. The third day is final race from the town of Orebic, along the Peninsula Peljesac to the town od Dubrovnik, where they are expected in the down town.

This rally concludes with the charitable dinner,auction and valuable rewards. All income is donated to the charitable associations and organizations in the area, this rally has been passing through. How important is this rally for the tourism and advertisement of the Republic of Croatia, is the fact that all managements of the towns, they are passing through, allow to all these cars to be parked in the very down town. They are in the same time an attraction to all enhabitants and guests,advertisement of the very town and a joy of viewing those beauties from the age of 50-70 years before.

Because this competition is taking place through the beutiful nature of Dalmatia, no wonder the number of competitors and interested persons are increasing. Can you imagine, what is a pleasure, for the guests and tourists, when they see a model of Mercedes from the year 1957, shining, well preserved and in the good repair.Exactly, the organizer of the rally, was relying on that. The voyage along the coast,on islands,beautiful coves, pine trees woods, magic smells of the dalmatian plants, neither of drivers will leave him indifferent That is a reason, all those drivers are checking in every year, enjoying in the Dalmatia and advertising the tourism of the Republic of Croatia in the same time.
