Airport Resnik, town of Kastela

The Airport of Resnik is very important object for the transport of the passengers to the Destinations in Dalmatia. It is located near towns of Trogir and Kastela, in the area of 120 hectares of plane Kastela field. Airport is equipped for the acceptance of all kinds,sizes and larger number of aeroplanes.Because, the traffic of the passengers and cars, through the cars ferry harbour,bus and railway station is increasing, and it is linked to the further voyage continuation of the tourists and Passengers to the dalmatian islands and the other destinations, widening of the aeroport, had to be considered. Increase in equipment,capacity and area, from present 120 to 200 hectares, had to be planned till the year 2040.

How crowded this aeroport is, proves the fact, that in the record year 2008. about 1.200.000 Passengers have passed through the aeroport, and on average 85 commercial and private Aeroplanes have landed a day. The Aeroport has the large advantage because of its vicinity to the Middle dalmatian islands, so any tourist,guest and passenger can reach any tourist town in a short time.
