Towns on island Ciovo in Croatia

Towns on island Ciovo are attractive to all guests and tourists who want in short time, over bridge, come here to this famous island. Through history this Island Ciovo was attractive to all inhabitants of town Trogir and surrounding towns, because they have been building here cottages for their vacation. All these inhabitants have been recently delt with fishing, agriculture and tourism, so 2 famous settlements have arisen here, Okrug Donji and Okrug gornji. In year 2010. about 54.500 tourists have visited towns on Island Ciovo in Croatia, which represents 3% of all tourists who have stayed in Central Dalmatia. On central part of island there are fertile fields, where fruit and vegetables are growing for numerous guests and tourists.

Island Ciovo is one of the rare islands connected by the bridge to the mainland. For the centuries noblemen from Trogir were building their residential houses in the peaceful bays with cristal clear blue sea.

Okrug is situated on Ciovo island. Okrug comprises two settlements - Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji (Upper and Down part). Today, Okrug's inhabitants are engaged in tourism as a main activity.

Town Arbanija is famous tourist town on Trogir riviera. It is situated in middle northern part of island Ciovo surrounded by beautiful nature.

Town Zedno is attractive dalmatian town on island Ciovo. Zedno is situated in central part of island and it attracts tourists with its preserved old stone houses.
