Seaplanes transport in Croatia

There is plan and need by town Split to run first project of Seaplanes Transport In Croatia and thereby would dalmatian islands and later whole Croatia be connected with towns where exists sufficient spacious water surface and dock. Seaplanes could transport from 15 – 25 passengers from sea port on Matejuska, in very city port of town Split. Where from, seaplane would sail out of port at least 600 meters and then take off and reach for instance, island Hvar within 10 minutes. For large investments to fleet, construction of proper docks – pontoons, auxiliary objects, berths and seaplanes transport in Dalmatia, ticket would cost about 70 €. Base port would be in town Resnik in Kastela bay. Flights would be organized to all islands and seaside towns where exists interest of passengers for seaplanes transport in Croatia. Whole this project would cost about 41.000.000 € according to presented offer of German and Swiss investors. Although, transport is more expensive, arrival speed, connectivity of islands with coast, unforgetable Aerial View and Curiosity Of Transport would attract large number of passengers, guests and tourists. We hope, this project will be soon realized and thereby improve tourist offer of Dalmatia significantly.
